The Return of the Turkey Trot
The Marion Independent School district hosts a 8K run & 4K run/walk to benefit Horizons and Feeding Lunches to Youth (FLY) Program.


Iowa Mission of Mercy (IMOM)
IMOM is held at a different site in Iowa every year. Local dentists join forces with the Iowa Dental Association and Iowa Dental Foundation to provide dentistry to those in need. Since IMOM started in 2007, over $4.5 million in dental work has been provided for free to about 7,000 patients. Dr. Miller has participated in IMOM for the last 8 years.
Splash A Smile 5k – Color Run (2013, 2014, 2015)
Hiawatha has hosted three 5k Fun Run/Walk with Color. Participants of all ages finished this 5k with splashes of color to help raise money to support dental services at the Community Health Free Clinic in Cedar Rapids.
Oral health presentations – Marion elementary schools
Dr. Miller’s staff visit local schools to teach elementary students about oral care and how to keep their mouth healthy.


Community Health Free Clinic – Cedar Rapids
Dr. Miller and her assistant, Sue, volunteer their time once a month to the Cedar Rapids Free Clinic, a non-profit organization that provides care to those without the ability to pay for healthcare.
